DATA BACKUP & CLONING
DATA TRANSFER FROM AN OBSOLETE STORAGE MEDIA
Require Data Backup Copy or Drive Cloning?
Need to get data from your redundant storage device?
That's easy! We can do it for you.
DATA BACKUP, DATA TRANSFER
Bring or send your data storage device (media) to us and your data will be stored (copied, transferred or cloned) onto another storage device in a safe and secure manner.
We provide the fastest and finest data transfer service in Adelaide and South Australia.
We can back-up (copy, move) data from data storage device (media) of any age, interface, model, brand or operating system (OS) to any current type of storage device.
We copy (transfer) data & backup data from/to USB flash
drives, memory cards, internal & external hard drives and Solid-State Drives (SSD) and other
data storage devices (RAID, NAS, etc)
We are specialists in data transfer from old, outdated storage media types like Floppy Disks (Floppy diskette), ZIP disks, CD discs and DVD disc.
Feel free to provide us with your own good external hard drive (or other storage device) on which you wish us to transfer the data.

DRIVE CLONING
Drive Cloning as a process, copies the entire contents of the original hard disk drive to another.
A cloning program enables a user to make an exact copy of the original hard drive on another hard drive.
For internal computer’s hard drives, this includes transfer of all the information that enables a user to boot up the operating system and run original, installed programs from the new drive.
This cloned copy on the new drive is completely operational, so it can be exchanged with the computer's original hard drive.
With Drive Cloning, a user does not need to spend days to arrange software setup and data on the new drive to replicate arrangement on the original drive. If you boot up from the cloned drive, its software setup and data filing system will be identical to the original drive at the time the cloned drive was created.
A cloned drive can be used to replace its original drive in a computer in the event that something bad happens to the original drive.
Hence, Drive Cloning is a safe, cost effective periodic “complete backup” strategy, which may save you time and money in case of your drive’s failure and permanent data loss.
Also, Drive Cloning is very useful for equipment upgrades i.e. it allows quick and easy replacement of computer’s existing OS hard drive with a Solid-State Drive (SSD) or replicating of old computer’s OS hard drive onto a new computer’s SSD, without installing OS and computer’s software.
DISK IMAGING
Disk Imaging as a process, creates a backup copy of the entire contents of the original, source hard disk drive.
A Disk Image is a file that includes all the data as it was stored on the original, source drive.
Although, this Disk Image file has the necessary information to boot up the operating system and run the original, installed programs, a user can't reinstate the original hard drive just by placing the Disk Image files onto the drive.
To reinstate original data from the source drive, the Disk Image has to be opened and installed on the drive with an imaging program.
Disk Images are usually used for restoring a hard drive's previous contents or for transferring contents to a new hard drive.
A single data storage device (HDD, SSD, flash drive or optical media) can store several Disk Image files.
DRIVE CLONING BY DISK IMAGE
A Disk Image can be used to create a copy of the original source hard drive on a second hard drive, making it a clone of the original drive.
To reinstate the original hard drive (so you can boot up the operating system and run the original, installed programs), the Disk Image has to be opened and cloned on the new drive with an imaging/cloning program.
